Furry Anglo-Saxon Protestant

My favorite friend on four legs has come to Edinburgh at last! Nancy's dog Kofi, a model for all dogs everywhere, has arrived from his home in the highlands to live with us in the city. We took him up Arthur's Seat yesterday (the volcanic crag in the middle of the city) so he could stretch his legs.

Kofi doing what he does best: staring over the edge and communing with the wind. I'm not sure what he sees when he does this, but it is an other-worldly focus that takes over his body. It's doubly hilarious because his ears blow out like an Alsatian:

Somewhere in Durham my grandmother just said "Is that Lauren? On a cliff?"

Four hours later and he was just as tired as I was. Urban Volcano climbing is not for the faint of heart.
